I really like Jack Kornfield and his explanation of the Shadow self. Partly why I like "Buddhism" (although not a "Buddhist in terms of dogma and doctrine, just love "Buddhist Wisdom") is because it embraces *everything* our humanity and our "spirituality", our darkness and our light... Think I'll go read a little Pema Chodron in - When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times. :)
