his name is God-with-them

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth ...
Here God lives among men.
He will make his home among them; 
they shall be his people and he will be their God;
his name is God-with-them.
He will wipe away all tears from their eyes;
there will be no more death, and no more mourning and sadness. 
 The world of the past has gone.
Then the One sitting on the throne spoke:
Now I am making the whole of creation new...

wow you really had to cherry pick Revelations to find a single verse that you agreed with, have you not read the whole thing. some pretty horrible thing in there.

Yes, I can see why you might say so, thanks for your comment. Happy to discuss the verse in a larger context, at any point. There is certainly the aspect of the destroyer/creator here. Yet, seeing our way all the way through the cycle, seeing it for what it is, sometimes lets us identify with something larger, something less well defined but more alive and more who we truly are.
